Thursday 7pm-9:30pm - Intermediate Rope Class
Intermediate classes are a progression from our introduction classes, as we start to cover more shapes including 2 & 3 part Takate Kotes (TKs) as well as in-depth tying and safety tips to build fun, safer and sustainable tying techniques for floor work.
To attend this class participants must be partnered, competent with basic shapes, have an understanding of tension, and of the risks involved in rope bondage. Students must also have their own equipment including rope and a rope cutting tool. If unsure of skill level or any requirements please attend one of our Wednesday night Beginner classes and speak to an instructor.
To ensure a positive learning experience for everyone, more experienced intermediate students may be given opportunities to extend their ties with techniques that utilise a hard point, subject to teacher discretion. The pre-requisite for this is a suspension ready chest harness (eg a 3-part TK).
